物理系天才李天（张睿饰）醉心研究「前卫科学-意识的力量」。他的母亲著名音乐人梅雪燕在日本卷入一宗神秘平交道事故，李天只身前往日本，不料已踏进一个精心策划的犯罪陷阱里。幕后的强大敌人暗中摆布着李天，用比他更尖端的前卫科学，进行一连串犯罪事件。李天在东京遇上了活泼率真的张妮（何杜娟饰），负责调查案件的刑警山崎（苗侨伟饰），他们三人组成一支关系微妙的探案团队。事件矛头直指二十多年前的神秘乐队“先行者乐队”，三人找到了多年追查乐队的身带残障的报社记者服部介（张孝全饰），了解到真相关系到二十年前，先行者乐队在鹿鸣馆表演中发生的一场巨大火灾，更牵涉到李天父母辈的惊人秘密……。Aspiring filmmakers Mel Funn, Marty Eggs and Dom Bell go to a financially troubled studio with an idea for a silent movie. In an effort to make the movie more marketable, they attempt to recruit a number of big name stars to appear, while the studio's creditors attempt to thwart them. The film contains only one word of dialogue, spoken by an unlikely source.。
