在太平洋西北部，有一片荒凉的森林，这里住着一个饱经沧桑的越南老兵(Danny Glover)。他的一个战友(David Strathairn)带着女儿，一个年轻的美亚混血儿拜访了他，为他带来了一个人生的转折。。Monica plans the perfect wedding that will cost them a fortune.
