本剧改编查尔斯狄更斯同名经典名作，讲述守财奴Ebenezer Scrooge（盖·皮尔斯饰）即便到了圣诞夜也不改本性。这一夜，已故友人Jacob Marley（斯蒂芬·格拉汉姆饰）的鬼魂突然现身，还请来了代表“过去”、“现在”和“未来”的三个圣诞幽灵，带领他回顾一生，指引他见证自私自利导致的后果。。A young man, Bruyn LeFevre, receives a letter informing him that he has inherited a castle in the Catskill Mountains of Upstate New York.
