讲述了上清古镇的张家和岳家两大家族间错综复杂的恩怨情仇。两大家族因争抢一张“藏宝图”积怨已久。然而，一个盗取藏宝图的日本人的突然来访打破了这一僵局。两大家族出人意料地决定联姻共同抗击日本人。原来，“藏宝图”中隐藏着更大的秘密……。Volker Schlöndorff transposes Bertolt Brecht’s late-expressionist work to latter-day 1969. Poet and anarchist Baal lives in an attic and reads his poems to cab drivers.
