《华豫之门》是河南电视台卫星频道重点打造的大型品牌文化栏目，是全国收藏类栏目的领跑者，开办于2004年1月4日，每周四晚21:10在河南卫视首播。。从小被猩猩养大的乔治一直生活在茂密的丛林中，逐渐成了森林之王。白人少女乌苏拉与未婚夫莱尔来到非洲丛林中探险。然而两人突然遭遇狮子的袭击，危急时刻，自私的男友居然扔下乌苏拉独自逃生。幸好乔治及时将她救下，将她带到丛林的树屋中。在这里，两人度过了一段美好奇妙的丛林时光，单纯善良的乔治也赢得了乌苏拉的芳心。然而死心不改的莱尔竟开枪射伤了乔治，甚至偕同几个盗猎者要抓乔治的猩猩朋友去卖钱。。This apocalyptic parable carries within it a clear echo of the 1968 invasion of Czechoslovakia.
