该片讲述了1949年4月下旬，国民党军长江防线被突破，解放军乘胜南下，准备一鼓作气拿下中国的金融中心上海。但是，这座当时被称为“远东第一城”的大都市，却给当时的共产党人出了一道难题：如何才能将城市破坏和人民伤亡降到最低？故事的叙述由此展开。。In Uruguay, they don't say cheese in front of the camera - they say whisky.
