In his starring debut Roy gets elected to congress in order to bring water to the ranchers in his district. In Washington he learns he needs the backing of a key congressman and gets that man to go west for an inspection trip. When the Congressman is initally unimpressed, Roy gets the inspection party stranded without water to show the true conditions.。2014年。川崎市内で女性ばかりを狙った連続殺人事件が起きる。被害者は皆、首を吊られていたぶり殺されており、世間では“首くくり殺人”などと呼ばれていた。犯人の手掛かりが掴めず、警察の捜査は難航していたが、捜査一課の刑事・井口は、この快楽殺人犯の容疑者としてある男をマークしていた。その男の名は、野木直哉（古川雄輝）。身元を詐称し、人前から気配を消して、息を潜めて生活する暮らしぶり。彼こそ、世間を騒がせた“昭島母子誘拐事件”の被害者・八木沼雅人だった。野木は、隣人・吉佳を巻き込みながら、捜査網から逃れようとするが、その中である事実に気付き…。果たして野木は、どんな事実に辿り着いたのか？野木の真の目的とは！？。
