主角阿努比斯及挚友托特每天都在用跷跷板测量人类灵魂的重量，决定他们要前往天国还是地狱。神出鬼没、无处不在的猫神芭丝特，不知道在思考些什么的梅杰德。整天埋头打工的荷鲁斯，以及不知道为什么总是想对荷鲁斯使坏却总是失败，让人又好气又好笑的赛特。。讲述了短短的一天一夜，餐桌之间的对话，争吵，各自错综复杂的人生故事。通过一个旅店形形色色的人物，展现了社会上普遍存在的信任危机现象。。A film director gathers his favorite actresses, those he worked with and those he loved.
