年幼的贺家千金被人贩子拐卖，在孤儿院将母亲送给自己的护身符给了一个小乞丐，自此两人的身份发生天翻地覆的改变。小乞丐被贺家人当成亲生女儿带回家，真千金却被卖菜婆子捡回家。十二年后，两人再次相遇，掀起了命运的交错。。The series focuses on the misadventures of Gumball Watterson, a blue 12-year-old cat, along with his adopted brother, Darwin, a goldfish. Together, they cause mischief among their family, as well as with the wide array of students at Elmore Junior High, where they attend middle school.。
