八年前的一个夜晚，一个老农在县城的街道捡到一个女孩，后来取名叫妞儿。老农成了妞儿的爹，全家生活就只靠妞儿爹种地的微薄收入维持着。一天，妞儿调皮地往爹口中塞了块糖。突然爹的眉头皱了起来，原来糖把爹已活动的槽牙粘了下来。妞儿瞒着爹一人跑到县城，打听得知一副假牙最便宜也得400元左右。看着爹吃饭困难的样子，妞儿想起在县城看到的收购野山参的广告，她决定上山挖野山参卖钱。妞儿为爹能安上假牙而奔忙着……。花开季节，年轻女孩紫丹来到了岭上的穷山村，她要改变山村的面貌！男友的不理解，老封建的干扰，村民之间的纠纷……重重难题都没有击退她的勇气和信念！在政府和企业家的帮扶下，紫丹大显身手！岭上花开的时候，正是紫丹和村民们笑颜展露之际。。The film, which marks the directorial debut of singer-turned-actor Luke Goss, is currently in post-production.
