书生张珍与丞相之女牡丹幼年订婚。后张珍因父母相继去世，只得投亲相府。丞相金宠冷眼相待，命张珍暂居后花园碧波潭畔草庐中读书，伺机退婚。张珍孤身索居，万般惆怅，常于夜阑人静之际，至潭边哀叹心事。深居碧波潭的鲤鱼精，见张珍纯朴敦厚，就变作牡丹小姐，去书房与他相会，两人情投意合。新春佳节，金牡丹游园赏梅，真假牡丹相遇，引起纷争。张珍、鲤鱼精乘机逃出相府。丞相不罢休，又奏明圣上请张天师调来天兵天将。张珍为救鲤鱼精而死，鲤鱼精被张天师所收。幸喜观音现身天庭，给鲤鱼精两个选择，一随观音往南海继续修炼成仙，二则是牺牲自己令张珍复活。鲤鱼精甘愿丢弃千年道行，忍痛脱去金鳞，救活张珍。观音见鲤鱼精真情度过考验，赐其人身，与张珍永结同心。。Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn welcome 10 designers to Los Angeles, CA where they arrive with their first assignment already complete -- a two-look collection representative of their brand statement.
