曾几何时，普罗大众对明星的追捧已经从狂热到了变态乖张的地步。关注明星的住行起居、搜集相关资讯和物品已不足为奇，所有和明星沾边的东西都成为搜藏家追逐的目标，甚至连明星感染的病毒以及明星细胞培养的人造肉类也成为粉丝急于入手的珍奇宝贝。以此为契机，专门贩卖明星病毒的卢卡斯中心应运而生。粉丝们趋之若鹜，只为和心中的偶像做最亲密的接触与联系。面色苍白的希德·马什（卡赖伯·兰德里·琼斯 Caleb Landry Jones 饰）是卢卡斯中心的一名员工，他利用工作之便将明星的病毒传入己身，外出偷偷倒卖。 某天，红女星汉娜（Sarah Gadon 饰）患病不治身亡。不久前刚刚盗取汉娜病毒样本的希德突然发现，他的人生将因此发生翻天覆地的改变……。In the futuristic city of Vanille, with properly tuned ImmerSyst Eyes & Ears the world can look and sound like a paradise.
