剧情简介
张美丽（李多海 饰）为替父还债，在日本福冈的一家歌厅做陪酒小姐，她想早日赚够钱回韩国寻找生身母亲李花（崔明吉 饰）。用险招凑到钱的张美丽只身赶往韩国，急着找工作拿签证的她因为一次意外车祸与韩国某酒店社长张明勋（金胜友 饰）邂逅，张美丽为了留在韩国不惜伪造学历，被张明勋聘为酒店的高级客户翻译。同时，张明勋的竞争对手，日本知名度假村会长公子宋裕贤（朴有天 饰），因为张美丽酷似已故的生母，从而对她一见钟情。从此，这两个男人和谎言堆积如山的另类灰姑娘张美丽之间的爱恨纠葛，拉开了序幕。。山田日後承認在開拍此片之前，已心諳渥美清的肺病步入末期，決定此章為最後一章，並安排由淺丘瑠璃子演的莉莉送寅次郎踏上人生的最後一程。分別15年後，兩人於如詩如畫的奄美大島重逢，感情依舊，鬥氣繼續，沒完沒了似的。正如山田所想，雖然系列必須完結，但始終不想為寅次郎的故事／人生劃上句號。結局如常開放，代表寅一直繼續他的旅程，日本人依然有夢。 公映後翌年，渥美清病逝，享年68歲，本片亦成為他的遺作。 Yamada knew before production began that Atsumi's health has deteriorated to such an extent that Tora-san to the Rescue would be the last film in the series.
