剧情简介
故事发生在70年代的台湾。宋丹妮一直以为自己遗传了亡母的精神病，自少不敢与人交往，性格孤僻多疑。一天，她在海边邂逅有为青年江涛，二人一见钟情，旋即成为爱侣。后来，江发现丹的继母云仙乃五年前抛夫弃女，离家一去不返的大嫂。江深明云的苦衷，便助她保密。不料，两人的往来被丹误以为二人有染，丹大怒，拒见江，又与云闹翻，终日愁眉不展。江不能向丹道出真相，唯有默默承受丹的冷待。最后，云回到前夫身边，那时，丹才知道错怪了江，又同时证实了自己并没有患疯病，疑虑尽消，二人重修旧好。。Set against the backdrop of a working farm in rural Northern Ireland, 'An Irish Goodbye' is a black comedy following the reunion of estranged brothers Turlough (Seamus O’Hara) and Lorcan (James Martin) following the untimely death of their mother (Michelle Fairley).
