大雪纷飞，落难书生莫稽倒卧金玉奴门前阶上，玉不忍，将他救起，玉父金松为叫化头子，素仗义疏财，慨然留稽在家暂住。稽、玉朝夕相对，互相爱慕，不久结为夫妇。玉、松父女随稽上京赴考，稽高中进士后，却嫌弃两人出身寒微，在客店掌柜唐三朵挑拨下，对他们百般奚落。松不堪受辱离家，玉心碎投江，稽悔恨不已。上任江西知县后，稽被巡按招为婿，却不知新娘正是获巡按救起的玉。洞房之夜，玉偕婢女仗棍在新房相候，棒打薄情郎。稽跪地向玉、松认错，在巡按调解下，玉终允破镜重圆。。"A Walk to Beautiful" tells the story of five women in Ethiopia suffering from devastating childbirth injuries. Rejected by their husbands and ostracized by their communities, these women are left to spend the rest of their lives in loneliness and shame. We follow each of these women on their journey to a special hospital in Addis Ababa where they find solace for the first time...。
