本片选取5位天文爱好者，记录他们2022年拍摄的银河、星座、星轨、行星特写、星云、夜光云、日食和流星雨等特殊天象的过程，展现了普通人实现仰望星空、探索未知太空的梦想，让观众感受星空之美、科学之美和宇宙之美。。A group of happy animal friends live in a beautiful big forest. One day, unusual things start to happen: the Owl has gone missing, and the river spills over and is getting closer to their homes. Led by the Fox and the Hare, the animals unite in search of their friend the Owl, to find out what is going on, and to save their homes…。影片以12个清新小品的片段形式，以不同的叙述视角，拼合交织出美国著名诗人C·K·威廉斯的生活经历和诗歌作品。影片开始时，弗兰科饰演的威廉斯有一个漂亮的妻子，法国珠宝商凯瑟琳（Catherine Mauger，米拉·库妮丝饰演），和一个幼年的儿子。可随着一场纽约的朗诵会日益临近，他却遭遇创作瓶颈，无法写出作品，陷入对往昔的记忆之中——童年、第一次的甜蜜、失去的苦涩。。
