Set in the Five Points Irish mingtian6.com neighborhood of New York City in the 1860s, focusing on a rugged young Irish cop who is forced to navigate his unruly and dangerous immigrant neighborhood while interacting with the uptown Manhattan crowd and the black community in Harlem.。80年代初的重庆，长江边一条起伏的小巷——望龙巷深处，有一座老宅小院，小院的主人向伯涛，是三四十年代朝天门的工商业主，与儿孙四代人就居住在这里。五六十年代后，这座小院里陆续搬来了若干家“阶级成份好”的人家与原来的主人向伯涛一家为邻。然而习惯上，望龙巷的人们仍将这府小院称为“向家小院”。。
