16年来，bentley小姐一直在科莫湖边的美丽的依山别墅里度过四月。她父亲是伦敦上流社会的艺术家，1937年刚刚去世，现在她唯一的讲英语的客人就是那些随便的美国人了。。Birdcatcher Esmar and his wife Johanna face eviction from their farm in Gásadalur unless they have a son. Desperation sets in when Johanna gives birth to their third daughter. Pushed to the brink, Johanna is impregnated by another man, a French Captain, and gives birth to a son, known as ‘the birdcatcher’s son’. Everything seems perfect until the French Captain returns.。
