本作の舞台は、問題を起こした生徒が集められる孤島の学園。その学園に転校生としてやってきた穂村イツキは、フランスの残酷演劇“グランギニョール”の研究会に入ることになる。研究会のメンバーに加え、彼らを管理する教師や料理長、謎の新任教師など、学園に集まった人々はどこか怪しげだ。そしてついにグランギニョールのような連続殺人事件が起こり、死の恐怖、そして男同士の愛と憎しみの渦にイツキたちは巻き込まれていく。。Ed Hutcheson, tough editor of the New York 'Day', finds that the late owner's heirs are selling the crusading paper to a strictly commercial rival. At first he sees impending unemployment as an opportunity to win back his estranged wife Nora. But when a reporter, pursuing a lead on racketeer Rienzi, is badly beaten, Hutcheson is stung into a full fledged crusade against the gan...。Dick Turpin is terrorising the countryside around Upper Dencher. Captain Fancey and Sergeant Jock Strapp plan to put an end to his escapades, and enlist the help of the Reverend Flasher. Little do they know that the priest leads a double life.
