He has decided to leave, but a snow avalanche is crushed in the mountains, making it impossible for him to leave. Soon, inspector has found a body of a dead lodger. (Strugatsky Brothers website) NOTES This is a crime / mystery thriller with surreal and psychedelic science fiction overtones based on a book Inspector Glebsky's Puzzle by the Strugatsky brothers. The screenplay was also written by the brothers and it differs from the book. The less you know about the movie the better starting point you have. The film is based largely on the mystery of what's happening to the people of Dead Mountaineer's Hotel. Is everything what it seems? Who's dead or who's not?。故事发生在建国35周年国庆前夕，解放军某部正在选拔参加阅兵式的士兵。教员孙放的训练方法严厉苛刻，这让很多新入伍的战士都感到了压力。刘国强性格活跃，而且热心帮助同乡郝小园，对于连长李伟成报名参加阅兵很是好奇，不理解阅兵对这个老兵的意义。排长江俊彪是罗圈腿，在训练中屡遭批评，嘴快的刘国强便劝他用背包带绑腿矫正。没想到一句戏言，江俊彪当了真。 在一次集体会上，吕纯直言不讳，说出了战士们的心里话。每个人都在内心深处追求着阅兵的意义。在40多度高温下训练，发高烧的刘国强坚持到了最后，被送进了医院。李伟成去看他，却欲言又止。原来他已身患重病，不能参加阅兵。郝小园的母亲病逝，孙放跟大家商量，决定让他回家奔丧，但是没想到他去而复返。一件件感动的事让阅兵式不在是简单的队列训练，而成为了他们精神寄托……。在长平市机场，经验丰富的的飞行员赵志强，机敏地避免了一场重大事故。飞机着陆后，人们发现油箱中被加入了遇热速熔的化学成分，如非及时发现并采取措施，定然机毁人亡。而关键问题是，乘坐这架飞机的是一位中央领导。省安全厅和市公安局立即着手调查。由于这位领导刚刚视察完长平集团113研究所即将完成的研究项目，K2导弹制导系统，准备离开并向中央汇报，择日进行演习，这起事故很可能涉及国家安全问题。安全厅派出侦察处长邱枫带领反间谍小组参与调查。。
