Marie is lost : she thinks of Paul when s...。萊恩年僅五歲的女兒米亞慘遭殺害，警方偵辦多時，卻無絲毫線索，萊恩只好靠自己之力進行調查。某夜，他透過窗外，發現住在他附近一名叫格蘭傑的男子，手上把玩著米亞最喜歡的蝴蝶髮夾，警方經過大肆搜索卻怎樣也找不到髮夾，沒有任何事證，這點讓警方束手無策。然而，萊恩堅信他就是兇手，於是動手綁架了格蘭傑，沒想到不管動用何種酷刑都不能讓格蘭傑招供，就在萊恩的信念開始動搖時，鎮上又發生了另一起女童被擄的案件，五歲的克拉拉命在旦夕，萊恩能拯救另一條無辜的性命嗎？。
