故事继续于1945年9月，第二次世界大战刚刚画上句点，全世界都在欢欣鼓舞地迎接着久违的和平时光。此时的塞巴斯蒂安已经成长为了一名10岁的少年，他和小狗贝勒以及祖父萨塞尔一起居住在位于圣马丁的山寨之中。两年前，塞巴斯蒂安最好的朋友安吉丽娜在战争中失踪了，她所乘坐的飞机坠毁在了阿尔卑斯山上的茫茫雪原之中。虽然所有的人都认定了安吉丽娜凶多吉少必死无疑，但塞巴斯蒂安还是不愿意放弃心中的希望。他找到了聪慧而又勇敢的飞行员皮埃尔，在后者的帮助之下，塞巴斯蒂安带着爱犬踏上了寻找好友之旅。。A group of students who are participating in a university's summer science camp are drawn into an incredible quagmire of conflicts, ranging from the relatively simple conflict between an engaging and forthright young teacher and his older manipulative colleague, to a contest pitting political correctness against free scientific inquiry.
