剧情简介

1937年的洛山矶唐人街，警员杰克因不满这里的黑暗，辞职当起了私家侦探。这天，一个自称莫拉雷太太的女子请杰克调查丈夫的外遇，杰克欣然接受。杰克发现莫拉雷原来是当地水利总工程师，正在为兴建水坝问题和当地农民争执。随后有人给了杰克一些证明莫拉雷偷情的照片，隔天早上真正的莫拉雷太太却找上门来要求杰克停止调查莫拉雷。 事情变得越来越迷离，杰克决心追查下去……。美食记者夏之禾在遇致味轩餐厅老板陆天作后，失去五感，丢了工作。为救餐厅，两人契约联姻，却陷入爱恨纠葛。夏之禾发现陆天作有女友，陆天作发现夏之禾是幕后黑手。两人面临背叛与真相，如何抉择？在这场爱情与背叛的较量中，他们将如何找到幸福？。Joseph and Brenda have done what many only dream of and retired to the South of France to live out the rest of their days as if they were permanently on holiday.
