嘉義縣東石高中擁有一支與眾不同的棒球隊，他們有個不同凡響的支持者－朴子配天宮的媽祖娘娘，在配天宮的支持下，足智多謀的教練和各懷絕技的學生如願組成球隊，為了籌措經費，他們不但出陣頭，還能賽龍舟，在媽祖娘娘的庇佑下，隊員們克服種種困難與訓練，建立起堅定的信心，從一群菜鳥磨練成一支棒球神兵，2003年，東石高中隊以黑馬之姿，在金龍旗全國大賽闖進八強，紛紛被媒體喻為天后的球隊，不料，在攸關球隊續存的下一站，竟要遇上同樣由天后宮襄助成立的強勁對手…。‘Treasures from the Wreck of the Unbelievable’ charts the story behind Damien Hirst’s most ambitious project to date.
