剧情简介
"Daughters of the Dust" tells the story of a family of African-Americans who have lived for many years on a Southern offshore island, and of how they come together one day in 1902 to celebrate their ancestors before some of them leave for the North. The film is narrated by an unborn child, and ancestors already dead also seem to be as present as the living.。这是一部当代亲情剧。经历过一场失败婚姻的顾锦朝，十几年后，工作生活皆一败涂地。在一个炎热的夏天上午，一个讨债少年拿着一份十几年前顾锦朝写下的欠条上门讨债。在两人的矛盾碰撞中，一个让顾锦朝不敢相信的埋藏了十几年的秘密，悄然浮上水面。
