《典籍里的中国》作为总台重点文化类创新节目，聚焦中华优秀文化典籍，从中甄选最值得讲述的优秀传统文化作品，以“文化节目+戏剧+影视化”的方式，讲述典籍的成书、核心思想以及流转中的闪亮故事，让书写在典籍里的文字“活”起来，展现典籍里蕴含的中国智慧、中国精神和中国价值。。Unable to find inspiration for his newest piece, young author Liam (Daryl McCormack) takes on the titanic weight of tutoring the son of legendary writer J.M. Sinclair (Richard E. Grant) and his wife Hélène Sinclair (Julie Delpy).
