剧情简介

1950年代未期，西北某导弹基地来了一群刚毕业的大学生，柳英（朱琳饰）决心像沙漠中的骆驼草一样，扎根沙漠，献身国防事业。同学叶子枫（赵晓明饰）和柯大光（孙继堂饰）都深爱着柳英，感情含蓄的柯大光忍痛割爱，成全了叶子枫。三年困难时期，经受不住考验的叶子枫当了逃兵，柳英与其离婚，一个人带女儿莎莎（曾春辉饰）生活。十年动乱时期，柯大光闯入柳英的生活，柳本能地拒绝，她不需要别人怜悯，后因大光出了车祸住院，经人撮合，有情人终成眷属。粉碎“四人帮”后，大光被调往基地深处某单位工作，柳英虽心有不舍，仍服从了组织决定。不久后传来消息，大光在沙暴中失踪......。A group of passengers cross a river on a small ferry.
