20多年前，从京城探亲回乡的沈老爷路遇劫匪，年幼的双胞胎儿子不幸被抢走一个，成为他最大的心结。20年后，在他70大寿的这一天，有一个悲惨的噩耗即将传来。Volker Schlöndorff transposes Bertolt Brecht’s late-expressionist work to latter-day 1969. Poet and anarchist Baal lives in an attic and reads his poems to cab drivers.
