But it m...。伊莎得知室友丹尼尔带着别的女人回家后，便急迫地想要搬离丹尼尔家，但是由于没有存款，即便晚上被邻居吵醒后，也只能开着私家车跑出租赚外快。白天伊莎与老友在餐厅里与莫莉谈起自己与丹尼尔的感情，莫莉劝她赶紧搬出来，晚上回到丹尼尔家里，即便两人相谈胜欢，伊莎还是决定划清界限...。史提夫巴西米饰演剧中之导演尼克李维。它描述导演尼克在导一部戏时错误百出，笑料连篇的剧情。为了不使剧情过于突兀，并保持连贯性，尼克在剧中以夸张的动作，帮倒忙的演出。剧中导浪尼克，有一群共事的人员，包括带头的电影放映师大狼，摄影师所用的道具灵感来自比利爱达及史弟芬维史特两位人员。尼可是一位有天份但又有点神经质的女演员；她和男演员查德帕罗米洛有过一段情史，但后来对他却又爱又恨。另外导演助理由丹尼尔饰演刻中铁石心肠的人物，汪达。还有不断出现剧中的甘草人物，贾佛。。
