Sound asleep one night, Karen wanders into the darkness and inexplicably ends up in front of the hospital. The gate to the Kingdom is opening once more…。姜阿珍与林长生相恋多年，却被婆婆孙桂花以命相逼离婚。小叔林泽平资助她后，和她抢破烂的牛强，也就是退休院士，邀她租住自家小院，开启同居生活。期间，林长生接小三回家，叶海洋归国寻她，与牛强争风吃醋，最终，牛强救姜阿珍受伤，让她坚定了自己的选择。。
