该剧讲述了一个虚构电视台“亚特兰蒂斯有线新闻台”台前幕后的故事。威尔‧麦卡沃伊是一位资深新闻节目主持人，为ACN电视网八点档旗舰节目《晚间新闻》带来超高收视率，但因为飞扬跋扈、刚愎自用，引发过团队成员的不满。在他刚结束休假回到办公室后，发现他的大部分部下将要另谋他就，集体被挖角。麦卡沃伊的老板、ACN电视网新闻部部长查理·斯金纳有卓越的眼光与新闻理想，知道该如何拯救一档新闻节目，眼光更是准得惊人。他不但没有放弃麦卡沃伊，更利用他的工作能力竭力维护这档节目中的所有人才。这一次，麦卡沃伊不得不带领一批全新的团队成员，重振《晚间新闻》的旗鼓。但是事情发展却没有想象中顺利，麦卡沃伊的团队不断受到来自各方的阻力甚至威胁。。The Nativity is a 2010 British four-part drama television series. The series is a re-telling of the nativity and was broadcast on BBC One and BBC HD across four days, starting on 20 December 2010. Tora-san comes back to his old home in Shibamata. His university professor Mr Okakura (Masakane Yonekura) suddenly arrives at his home which makes Tora-san so angry that he plans to leave home. However, his old friend Chiyo (Kaoru Yachigusa) comes to visit him. The two of them begins to reminisce about old times, and has developed a kind of bonding between them. At the same time, Mr Okakura has become attracted to Chiyo, which makes this the first ever love triangle for Tora-san. Superstar Kinuyo Tanaka has a special appearance in this film.。
